He ran global product marketing for SaaS leader SuccessFactors through its IPO and beyond, where he helped drive a major repositioning and category creation effort that unlocked larger budgets and ultimately led to the company’s $3.6B acquisition by SAP.
As Bizo’s CMO, he ran all aspects of the company’s marketing effort that helped scale the company from $3M to a $50M+ revenue run rate leading to the successful acquisition by LinkedIn. At LinkedIn, David led the product marketing, customer lifecycle and vertical marketing efforts for LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS), a $581M business FY2015.
Most recently, David was CMO at Clari, the leader in AI for Sales. There, his team grew marketing’s direct contribution to new business to nearly 70% and successfully established a new market category that differentiated the company in an emerging space which helped increase its customer base 3X YoY.
Originally a New Yorker, David and his family have been in the Bay area for 20 years. He holds a MBA in Marketing from University of Pennsylvania – The Wharton School and a B.A. in International Relations and Asian Studies from Tufts University.
